Vallourec Forging Promotion in Korea

At the end of October, Mr. Song Zijian, Senior Sales Director for STP, Industry and PLPP NEA, led China team to Korea to visit BHI, a major boiler equipment manufacturer in Korea, Sungil, a pipe fittings piping company, and Daewoo E&C, an engineering company, etc. and specifically promoted “Vallourec Forging”.
Korea is one of the key markets to promote “Vallourec Forging”. After a lot of work in the early stage, VCHA received the on-site audit of BHI in September, and successfully became a qualified supplier of BHI. During this visiting, both parties conducted further in-depth discussions on the demand for pipes in the Philippines MV2 project At the end of October, Mr. Song Zijian, Senior Sales Director for STP, Industry and PLPP NEA, led China, and basically reached a cooperation intention, which is expected to become the first direct export project of VCHA in recent years. BHI expressed sufficient confidence in VCHA and 2nd round pipe procurement of the MV2 project in next year was also discussed.
“Under Group’s guidance, we would follow the track of breaking through key markets, radiating to the surrounding areas and upstream. We strongly believe that we will see good outcome of Vallourec Forging promotion very soon,” Mr. Song Zijian said.
