Tube Supply Visited VCHA

On August 21st, Alvaro Dominguez Rodriguez, President of Tube Supply, a well-known American pipe and bar distributor, visited Vallourec (China) Co., Ltd. Changzhou Plant (VCHA) in China, accompanied by Hector Arevalo, VP sales of Energy, Industry and Mechanical Tubes North America, and Alain Gardinier, Director Product Line Process Pipe.

Tube Supply has been deeply involved in the high-end mechanical pipe and bar market since 2016. Together with its partner Triple-S Steel, they have become industry reference in this sector with thousands of tons of pipe and bar products in stock and is a stable customer of Vallourec in the US market. The main purpose of Mr. Dominguez Rodriguez’s visit to China this time is to explore new suppliers. After mill tour and in-depth exchanges, Mr. Dominguez Rodriguez expressed confidence in VCHA’s production process, quality management, and was willing to further discuss technical requirements and pipe needs with VCHA, which lay the foundation for future cooperation. Currently, technical exchange of selected steel grade is undergoing.

In recent years, VCHA has been continuously striving to expand its high value-added categories and premium markets. The decision of the group in August to officially promote “Vallourec Forging” product globally provides great opportunity and resources for VCHA.
