Vallourec Changzhou plant is actively innovating, with record sales & production output in 2023

On December 24th, 2023, Vallourec Changzhou plant (VCHA) successfully rolled off the production line with the first batch of PTCT coupling material orders, which inadvertently set two records:

• The first delivery time EXW (from raw material procurement to plant inspection and release) is less than 2 months.
• First production and successful delivery of coupling material to the customer’s N80-1 grade.

In a short period, we have created new products and achieved results, said Zhang Jianfeng, Production Manager of VCHA plant: “This is a classic example of successful teamwork. From Souring, Planning, VDIS, Quality and Equipment Maintenance to front-line employees in the plant, they are all actively involved and advised. The Vallourec spirit of ‘nothing is impossible’ and ‘making the impossible possible’ is once again promoted in this project, and it is the driving force behind our innovation to achieve the Group’s “Value Over Volume” strategy.”

In addition, the sales and production output of the VCHA plant in 2023 also reached a new record.

To this end, the VCHA plant held a celebration on April 11, 2024, including a celebration ceremony and a barbecue buffet, as well as a customized gift for all employees.
