Vallourec in Brazil inaugurates its large OD threading line at its Jeceaba plant
The large OD threading line was officially inaugurated at Jeceaba Pipe on 31 October, Bertrand Frischmann, Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Group, and André Lacerda, Senior Vice President for South America, attended the local ceremony along with other senior management.
Congratulating the entire team on its work, they emphasized that this new production line represents a strategic step forward, strenghtening our technical capacity and expanding our porfolio of tubular solutions, proof that Vallourec in Brazil is ready to meet all the challenges of the sector.
These seamless OCTG steel pipes are now offered in a range of diameters up to 18 5/8" (473 mm), together with VAM® fittings and other related services. Large OD pipes are used in the construction of wells for structural foundations - one of the most important stages in well construction - making them more resistant and stable and ensuring their durability and efficiency.
