Review of 2023 Safety Month
In the 23rd “Safety Production Month” activity in China, following the requirements of the 2023 “Safety production Month” Activity Plan of the two levels of urban government and the spirit of the relevant meeting, combining with the actual situation of the company, with the theme of “Everyone speaks safety, everyone will respond to emergencies”, we have carried out activities such as “Safety Day”, “Safety Knowledge Competition”, “Safety Hidden Danger Investigation”, and “Safety Emergency Drill”, to effectively implement the theme of “Safety Month” into production and operation, and further enhance the safety awareness of every employees.
Formulate the “Safety Production Month” activity plan, and establish the “Safety Production Month” activity steering committee.
At the beginning of the “Safety Production Month”, we held a special safety production work meeting to fully deploy the current safety production work, announced the implementation of the company’s “Safety production Month” Activity Plan, and called on all departments and workshops to carry out relevant activities. That is, the company leaders take the lead in giving a speech about safety, the security responsible persons of different departments give a speech, and the front-line workers promote interaction with each other.
Main activities of the “Safety Production Month”:
1. “Safety Day” event was held on the first day
On June 1st 2023, we held “Safety Day”. During this event, we introduced “Lifesaving Rules” and reviewed past safety incidents and safety improvements. Safety is no small matter; no safety, no happiness. In “Safety Day”, we required every employee to keep safety in mind, put safety into action, and promote our safety management to “autonomous safety”, shifting “I am required to be safe” to “I need to be safe”, “I need everyone is safe”.
2. Safety knowledge competition and hand-drawn fire evacuation map activities
In order to further enhance the safety awareness of the employees and improve the emergency escape ability, we combined the provisions of Safety Operation Regulations, Safety Management System, Emergency Rescue Plan, Special Operation Safety Management System and Fire Safety Management System, and adhered to the principle of “Prevention first, combined with control, and strengthen education” with the actual work. On June 26th, the activities of safety knowledge competition and hand-drawn fire evacuation map were carried out, and prizes were awarded to the outstanding employees.
3. Carry out work safety warning education
During the safety meeting, each department and workshop organized employees to carry out “I know the risk of hot work” publicity activities, “Everyone talks safety production”, “Pre-class meeting”, “Case study” and other activities to exchange learning experiences to conduct warning education. Equipment Department organized safety training for maintenance workers, welders and other special dangerous operators, and Production Department carried out warning education, i.e., “three violations”, lifting traffic command requirements and safety incidents review to operators. Through these activities and training, we firmly established a security red line awareness in a clear, strong and firm attitude.
5. Carry out the “safety pacesetter, safety advanced team” selection activities
We also carried out the “safety pacesetter, safety advanced team” selection activities to commend the team and individuals in the performance of safety work.
6. Set up safety bulletin board
We set up a safety publicity bar at the entrance of the factory to publicize safety incidents and safety knowledge, and commend the “safety pacesetter, safety advanced team” to pass on the safety culture of the enterprise. Strengthen employees’ safety knowledge learning through the safety publicity bar, strengthen employees’ safety responsibility awareness to improve the safety quality of personnel, and build a strong safety management line.
7. Carry out the “investigation of hidden dangers in production safety” campaign
We carried out “investigation of hidden dangers in production safety” campaign in all departments and workshops, and conducted investigation and rectification work in hot work, limited space work, high work, fire safety, occupational health and environmental governance, special equipment, post safety, workshop safety and other aspects so as to control the risk.
4. Organize and carry out safety emergency plan exercises
We actively organized and carried out actual combat drills of on-site disposal schemes for lifting injury accidents and emergency rescue drills for forklift accidents. These drills strengthened employees’ emergency rescue and disposal capabilities, improved their resilience to emergencies, enhanced their self-rescue and mutual rescue capabilities, and finally achieved the goal of “everyone is safe and everyone will respond to emergencies”.
